Great Love

But God, Who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us - Ephesians 2:4

God so loved the world that His love here in the Bible is refered to as His great love.  This great love wasn't content to love us from afar. 

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

According to Romans 5:8 God demonstrated His great love towards us by the means in which Christ died for us at the Cross.  He demonstrated God's great love and justified the ungodly before God in telling Him that He was dying because we didn't know what we were doing.

But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness. - Romans 4:5

Romans 4:5 says that faith in this justification renders us righteous.  So we're told in Romans 10:9 based on this great love that God has loved us with that was demonstrated to us while we were sinners that Christ died for, that if in our belief in His crucifixion thru His great love with which He's loved us, that if we'll confess with our mouths the Lordship of Jesus, believing in our hearts that God has raised Him from the dead, then we will be saved.

Pray with me right now and begin to know the growing salvation of the Lord in one's heart from this day forward:

Father in heaven, from this day forward I've repented of my sin, according to Luke 24:47, Acts 11:18, Acts 17:30, Acts 20:21, Acts 26:20, 2Corinthians 7:9, and 2Timothy 2:25, and I've exercised faith towards Lord Jesus, believing in my heart that You've raised Him from the dead.  I thank You, Lord Jesus for all You've done and for all You're doing and from this day forward, as I've received You as Lord, so I walk in You and Your Lordship according to Colossians 2:6-7 and Colossians 3:12-17.  I'm abiding in You and Your Word is abiding in me, according to John 15:7, therefore I thank You ahead of time that I have everything that I've prayed for that's rooted in my abiding in You and Your Word. Thank You, Father, for changing my world in the Name of Lord Jesus. Amen.
