We rejoice in our Father God for being the Saviour of all men, especially of those who believe. He has given us all things richly to enjoy, His mercies are new every morning, & He has given us a faithful High Priest Who is faithful in things pertaining to God to make propitiation for the sins of the people. He has made peace for everything in the heavens and in the earth by His Blood. The Precious Blood of Jesus has set us free, given us His righteousness, delivered us from wrath, brought us near, delivered us from the hand of the enemy, redeemed our firstborn from the Destroyer, & equipped us for every good work! Our God hasn't forgotten the least & the littlest among us, whether they're people or animals. Our children, our pets, & our livestock are delivered from the Devourer, blessed all of their days, & are all children of God through our faith in Christ Jesus. St. Paul said to believe on the Lord Jesus & we would be saved, us & our households, according to Acts 16:31.
Household salvation extends to the Hosea 2:18 heirs in our lives as well. Protection, preservation from disease & every evil; God's blessing on their length of days & long life; the company of angels & of His Presence so that they're never lonely; healing, restoration from weariness, including from the effects of changing weather patterns on their bodies, nourishment of every cell of their bodies; strong, fruitful relationships with the human beings they would call home & family: it's all theirs' through our faith in Christ Jesus, the intercessions of Christ Jesus, according to Isaiah 40:11, & through the Sovereignty of our heavenly Father! The Isaiah 54 Covenant of Prosperity can't be removed from them, as it can't be removed from us. All their children shall be taught of the Lord & great will be their peace & prosperity! Everything they need to know about not wandering too far away from home, about staying out of things in our households that could possibly harm them, & progressive revelation about what it takes to get along with us!
Jeremiah 31:25 is as much a part of Jeremiah 31:27-28's inclusive language about people & animals that were formerly hunted down, now being built & planted by the Lord's mercies, as any other provision that has ever come about for people & animals through the Blood of His Cross:
“For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.” Jeremiah 31:25
“As a beast goes down into the valley and the Spirit of the Lord causes him to rest, so You lead Your people to make Yourself a glorious name.” Isaiah 63:14
His two-fold plan for making Himself a glorious Name involves people & animals. Again from Jeremiah 31:27-28:
“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast. And it shall come to pass, that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy, and to afflict, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, says the Lord.”
Jeremiah 31:27-28 is the Old Testament version of Romans chapters 9 through 11 where God's destructive & redemptive grace is discussed at length by which the people of Israel would choose in what form they would be recipients of God's universal grace, whether as kindness or as severity. Jeremiah 31:27-28 includes His universal grace in our day towards people & animals. The book of Romans includes the same language regarding the creation in Romans 8:21 when it paraphrases Hosea 2:18 as Paul is transitioning from his topics of a faith that saves all, the pointlessness of hypocritical religious legislation among us as any means of salvation, and the struggle between someone who has been a recipient of His grace, yet is attempting to legislate morality rather than live & model transforming life through Christ Jesus into the topic of God's dealings with Israel in both Old & New Testament history and what was formerly religious exclusivity that is now transfiguring into an international faith for all nations, all individuals, and all of God's creatures everywhere. Jeremiah 31:27-28 gives us the same doctrine in a more concise manner.
Our faith, that works by love, according to Galatians 5:6, is a faith that's to be lived out with consistency of compassion towards all people & animals, as we work together with God as His appointed deliverers, rescuers, & restorers, in fulfillment of what Christians have called “the Great Commission” for centuries. Plants have neither spirits nor souls, though enjoy & express the energies of spirits and souls that surround them. They can be made toxic, or at least be made to chemically mutate by our pain, vulgarity, blasphemy, fear, disobedience to God, & any other areas where our lives are amiss or toxic, because they take everything around them & attempt to use it & make it available to us in their plant tissues. This is why we've been exhorted for centuries to pray over our food & to receive the blessing of Christ's new Creation work through it. It's to become as much of a blessing & source of renewal to us as when we receive holy Communion, or what some would call the Eucharist. The Scriptures speak of the trees of the field clapping their hands & praising the Lord alongside of us. This goes back to their taking everything around them & attempting to use it & store it in their plant tissues, as a resource, as an archive, & as a memory for all generations.
(Tree rings are an example of an archive & a memorial, lest anyone forgetting about those as an example winds up thinking I'm speaking too radically to areas that can't be demonstrated, substantiated, and/or whatever.)
Together, we'll heed God's admonition to not remember the former things, in Isaiah 43:18-21 & Isaiah 49:7-10, & labor together with God through the Gospel of Jesus Christ being upon our lips, richly, in all wisdom, saying everything we say & doing everything we do in the Name of our Lord Jesus, according to Colossians 2:6-7 & Colossians 3:16-17, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. We will command every prisoner to come out & everyone in darkness to show themselves so that they will feed everywhere, neither hurting nor destroying in all of His holy mountain, because of the full knowledge of the Lord that we're bringing forth, according to Isaiah 49:7-10 & Isaiah 11:2-9. Thanks to all who faithfully support everything we say & everything we do around here with their fasting, prayer, & bountiful, truly boundless generosity to us with every resource at their disposal so that together we cause all of Creation to be in health & to prosper, trembling at His goodness & prosperity that He's giving to all, according to Isaiah 11:2-9, Isaiah 43:18-21, Isaiah 49:7-10, Ezekiel 38:19-20 & Jeremiah 33:9. Together, we are reclaiming the full redemptive work of Christ Jesus that's the rightful heritage of every Creature everywhere, in all generations, & the aroma of Christ through us is filling all things in the heavens & in the earth through us, according to 2Corinthians, Ephesians 3, & Colossians 1.
