Communion > Rejoicing in a New Testament that's 100% true

By Martin Cisneros

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we rejoice in all of Your boundless goodness and kindness towards us, that You've satisfied our mouths with good things so that our youth is renewed as the eagle's, and that You've equipped us for every good work.  We thank You for the Words of Jesus and we continue in them, and we thank You for the works You've given us to do that testify of us that You have sent us.  We thank You, boundless Father that You've forgiven all of our iniquities and healed all of our diseases, redeemed our lives from corruption and from destruction.  We rejoice in You, that You've made known Your ways to us, and You're faithful and just in having cleansed us of all unrighteousness.

Thank You, holy and righteous Father for all of Your tender mercies being over all of Your works, and for grafting the animals into the seed of Abraham according to Jeremiah 31:27-28, Zechariah 2:4-5, Romans 8:19-23 and innumerable other passages of Scripture.  Thank You for filling our hearts with the love that You love our Lord Jesus with, so that we can love all of our enemies and all of those around us with the same intense love that You love our Lord Jesus with.  We approach the throne of grace knowing we belong and knowing death has been defeated in our names by our Lord Jesus Christ.  We thank You for Your Covenantal relationship with us through Christ Jesus and for completing all of the works of our hands.

We take hold of the Bread and Cup of our Lord Jesus in remembrance of Him, and we partake, right now, of the Body that was broken for us, through which our healing is ours, as well as our prosperity and freedom from anguish, sorrow, and sighing.  We receive the Bread of the New Testament that's made us one with one another and one with the ministers of the New Covenant through which we are partakers of Your grace, and we honour those who have preached the Gospel to us and have discipled us in the faith so that as one loaf we'd disciple the nations.  We thankfully eat this Bread now!

We thank You for the Blood of our Lord Jesus, and we lift the Cup of Remembrance and receive the Blood of our Lord Jesus that was shed for many for the remission of sins, and we go from this place declaring to the world that through Jesus Christ the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to them: they have been forgiven!  We rightly discern the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus, and this moment we receive the Blood that's made us partakers of the divine nature, and by this Cup we escape the corruption that's in the world through lust.  We thankfully drink this Cup now!

Father, we rejoice and bless You, we love our neighbours as our Father has loved Christ Jesus, according to John 17 and Romans 5, and we go from this place doing the works of Abraham because we are the seed of Abraham.  We thank You for healing our bodies, sanctifying our whole beings, and for seating us with Yourself in heavenly places in Christ, according to Ephesians 2.  We reaffirm the Hosea 2:18 Covenant and the destruction of enmity and exploitation between mankind and all of Creation.  We bless You, righteous Father, for giving us days of heaven on earth and that for us, Your will is done on earth as it is in heaven, and nothing can ever separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord!

For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies, and tell false dreams; they comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; they are in trouble because there is no shepherd. Zechariah 10:2

Unless otherwise noted, Scripture quotations are from a solid Center Column Reference Study New King James Version Bible. Where Center Column Reference alternate renderings are preferred, they're not always noted on the site at the time of their usage in a given context, if there's a discrepancy between our quotation and a NKJV that our site's visitors use that's missing the Center Column Reference notes that provide more literal renderings, alternative Hebrew and Greek manuscript variations, etc. Sometimes an "Understood Subject" from the given chapter of the Bible or the particular book of the Bible (perhaps previous chapter) is given attention to while teaching. Reading (and rereading) each book of the Bible [in it's entirety] that's being quoted from in the midst of each subject is [always] greatly encouraged for added clarity! While we're [deeply] supportive of what's understood to be orthodox Christian doctrine on all matters, we're always looking for what God's ADDITIONALLY saying to us in each subject being taught.
