Communion > The foundation of our lives

By Martin Cisneros

Thank You, Father, in Jesus' Name, for all 31,173 verses of the Bible.  Thank You, Father, for more and more accurate translations.  Thank You, Father, for more greatly increasing our understanding of the Scriptures.  Thank You, Father, that wealth and riches are in our Psalm 112 houses and our houses are as the throne of God, in the Name of Jesus!  Thank You, Father, in Jesus' Name, for every property that it's ever Your will for us to own.  Thank You, Father, for every automobile, boat, plane, and everything else that You have for us to fulfill every desire of our hearts that have been transformed by the Scriptures being meditated in day and night and put into practice, according to Romans 12:1-2 and Colossians 3:12-17.  Thank You, Father, for every person that it's ever Your plan for them to work for us, and with us, and for enabling them to have everything they'd ever need and want as they seek first the Kingdom of God and Your righteousness, obeying the 1John 3 commandments You've given the Church, and that's thanking You [as a lifestyle] for every promise of the Scriptures by which they're a partaker of Your divine nature and are escaping the corruption that's in the world through lust.

Thank You, Father, for escape from every temptation, that every way of escape is an easy yoke and light burden.  Thank You, Father, that You're not the author of our temptations, but of our faith that You've brought to pass in our lives through Jesus' High Priestly ministry at Your right hand and the Holy Spirit within us, that together with the Scriptures being unbroken in our lives, according to John 10:35, is a completed circuit showing forth Your love to all of the nations of the world.  Thank You, Father, for multiplying our seed and for multiplying our harvest, according to 2Corinthians 9:10, through Christ Jesus!  We thank You, Father, that as our diligence to the Gospel, to thanksgiving, and to the sanctification You're working in our lives, by Your Spirit, are multiplied, so also is our joy and our resources for covering every expense of getting the Gospel out to people and for meeting every single need that we encounter with people and animals who are heirs of Abraham and joint-heirs with one another, according to Isaiah 11:1-9, Jeremiah 31:27-28, Ezekiel 38:20 read with Jeremiah 33:9, Zechariah 2:4-5, and Romans 8:21 through Christ Jesus!  We thank You, Father, for tearing down those Ezekiel 38:20 walls of division between Your heirs, in Jesus' Name!

Lord Jesus, we eat, right now, the Bread that You blessed, broke, and distributed to Your disciples calling Your Body.  We eat this in Remembrance of You!

Lord Jesus, we drink, right now, the Cup that You gave thanks for and gave to Your disciples calling Your Blood.  We drink this in Remembrance of You!

Thank You, Father, in Jesus' Name, for the beauty of New Jerusalem, whose light is like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.  Thank You, Father, for walls of jasper and pure gold buildings in everything that we do for Jesus' sake and for the Gospel, and that in everything the nations walk in the light, that's as a jasper stone, clear as crystal, in every ray of it.  Thank You, Father, that nothing that defiles or is profane, or that causes an abomination or a lie will ever enter into our lives, but only those things from the New Testament that don't defile, nor are profane, nor cause abominations or lies, in the Name of Jesus!  Thank You, Father, for rivers of living water flowing through us, to the east and to the west, and that we reign to the ages of ages with You, in Jesus' Name!  Thank You, Father, for dealing with all who have afflicted us, for saving the lame, for gathering those who were driven out, and for appointing us for praise and fame in every Acts 17 land where we were put to shame!  Thank You, Father, for giving us fame and praise among all the peoples of the earth, according to Zephaniah 3:19-20.

Thank You, Father, in Jesus' Name, for taking away our judgments, casting out our enemy, and for promising we will see disaster no more, according to Zephaniah 3:15.  Thank You, Father, that our warfare is ended, and our iniquity is pardoned, according to Isaiah 40:2 because we are Your Hebrews 12:22 Jerusalem.  Thank You, Father, that according to Isaiah 40:2 that the Lord's double for all of our sins has passed, in Jesus' Name, according to Isaiah 40:2, and we are reconciled to You in Christ, according to 2Corinthians 5:18.  Thank You, Father, for making us ministers of reconciliation, according to 2Corinthians chapters 3 and 5.  Thank You, Father, for making us John 14:12 Christians who don't just talk about doing the works of Jesus, but who leave Lord Jesus very deeply edified, and praising You, about what just happened, and what is happening on an ongoing basis!  Thank You, Father, in Jesus' Name, that the foundation of our lives that we've built on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, according to Matthew 7:24 and Luke 6:48, is adorned with 12 precious stones for foundations, according to Revelation 21.

For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies, and tell false dreams; they comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; they are in trouble because there is no shepherd. Zechariah 10:2

Unless otherwise noted, Scripture quotations are from a solid Center Column Reference Study New King James Version Bible. Where Center Column Reference alternate renderings are preferred, they're not always noted on the site at the time of their usage in a given context, if there's a discrepancy between our quotation and a NKJV that our site's visitors use that's missing the Center Column Reference notes that provide more literal renderings, alternative Hebrew and Greek manuscript variations, etc. Sometimes an "Understood Subject" from the given chapter of the Bible or the particular book of the Bible (perhaps previous chapter) is given attention to while teaching. Reading (and rereading) each book of the Bible [in it's entirety] that's being quoted from in the midst of each subject is [always] greatly encouraged for added clarity! While we're [deeply] supportive of what's understood to be orthodox Christian doctrine on all matters, we're always looking for what God's ADDITIONALLY saying to us in each subject being taught.
