8 He is near who justifies me; who will contend with me? Let us stand together. Who is my adversary? Let him come near me. 9 Surely the Lord GOD will help me; who is he who will condemn me? Indeed they will all grow old like a garment; The moth will eat them up.  Isaiah 50:8-9

7 “ Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, You people in whose heart is My law: Do not fear the reproach of men, Nor be afraid of their insults. 8 For the moth will eat them up like a garment, And the worm will eat them like wool;  Isaiah 51:7-8

17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.  Isaiah 54:17

There is a provision of protection for those who are walking out the Covenants of the Lord.  I've stood on this for over 20yrs and it never fails to work.  You can do the same thing and those who rise up to condemn you or to criticize you will be eaten up with premature aging.  Longevity is only a provision of God for walking in His light, love, fidelity, and wisdom.  All others, He just gets them out of here ASAP.  The wrath of God abides on them for not believing what He said about touching His anointed and doing His prophets harm.

While they're criticizing you, the moths are working, and Lord Jesus extended this from Isaiah to include financial self destruction, according to His choice of wording for Matthew 6:19-20.  The worms are eating the whole time someone thinks they're getting away with touching His anointed or misrepresenting the work of God in your life and for your life.  Isaiah 51:7-8 says this is for those who know righteousness.

Isaiah 50:10 says this is for those who diligently practice Colossians 2:6-7.  Isaiah 50:11 says your critics will lie down in torment. Your heritage is the Covenant of Peace. Their heritage is growing old.  They're prophesying their own doom by the images they're trying to fill your life with about what God's given you.  Let 'em keep on, praise God, they'll just dry up that much faster if they won't repent.

For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies, and tell false dreams; they comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; they are in trouble because there is no shepherd. Zechariah 10:2

Unless otherwise noted, Scripture quotations are from a solid Center Column Reference Study New King James Version Bible. Where Center Column Reference alternate renderings are preferred, they're not always noted on the site at the time of their usage in a given context, if there's a discrepancy between our quotation and a NKJV that our site's visitors use that's missing the Center Column Reference notes that provide more literal renderings, alternative Hebrew and Greek manuscript variations, etc. Sometimes an "Understood Subject" from the given chapter of the Bible or the particular book of the Bible (perhaps previous chapter) is given attention to while teaching. Reading (and rereading) each book of the Bible [in it's entirety] that's being quoted from in the midst of each subject is [always] greatly encouraged for added clarity! While we're [deeply] supportive of what's understood to be orthodox Christian doctrine on all matters, we're always looking for what God's ADDITIONALLY saying to us in each subject being taught.
