13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for deliverance through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth,
14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2Thessalonians 2:13-14

In any area of life, when you are needing deliverance or provision, His process is always the same: sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the Gospel of His Apostles and Prophets in the Bible.  Through the Scriptures of the Bible, His exceedingly great and precious promises, as 2Peter 1 calls them, you are called to obtain the very glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.  We are also told in Romans regarding this:

1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2

Our very right to these provisions and beyond, into His actual glory, is through faith in what God has accomplished for us through Christ's sufferings in our behalf through which we have once and for all been made His righteousness:

21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2Corinthians 5:21

Sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the Gospel of His Apostles and Prophets in the Bible is His pattern for saving humanity from it's sins, since we are told that it is by the very incorruptible seed of the Word of God that we are born again:

23 having been regenerated, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, living and permanent, 1Peter 1:23 Concordant Literal New Testament

11 being endued with all power, in accord with the might of His glory, for all endurance and patience with joy; Colossians 1:11 Concordant Literal New Testament

Your endurance and patience with joy are given to you in proportion to His Spirit's sanctifying work in you and the degree to which you are understanding, trusting, and obeying the Gospel.  2Thessalonians 2:13-14 says He chose you for deliverance, for obtaining those things in this life that will bring glory to Christ Jesus, and John 17 says He's given you His glory.  Colossians 3 says when He's revealed to you in all wisdom, in His glory you also appear with Him in glory.  You are called by the Gospel for all of these things!

For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies, and tell false dreams; they comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; they are in trouble because there is no shepherd. Zechariah 10:2

Unless otherwise noted, Scripture quotations are from a solid Center Column Reference Study New King James Version Bible. Where Center Column Reference alternate renderings are preferred, they're not always noted on the site at the time of their usage in a given context, if there's a discrepancy between our quotation and a NKJV that our site's visitors use that's missing the Center Column Reference notes that provide more literal renderings, alternative Hebrew and Greek manuscript variations, etc. Sometimes an "Understood Subject" from the given chapter of the Bible or the particular book of the Bible (perhaps previous chapter) is given attention to while teaching. Reading (and rereading) each book of the Bible [in it's entirety] that's being quoted from in the midst of each subject is [always] greatly encouraged for added clarity! While we're [deeply] supportive of what's understood to be orthodox Christian doctrine on all matters, we're always looking for what God's ADDITIONALLY saying to us in each subject being taught.
