8 And in that day it shall be That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea And half of them toward the western sea; In both summer and winter it shall occur. 9 And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be— “The LORD is one,” And His name one. Zechariah 14:8-9
In Hebrews 12:22 we are assured that the Church is the Jerusalem from above. Romans, Galatians, Ephesians, and Acts teaches us it is a Church made up of Jews and Gentiles and demonstrates that. The Old Testament emphasizes the oneness of the Name of God, while the New Testament emphasizes the oneness of the people of God. There was no change in subjects between Testaments. His people are His Name. People get silly about Oneness or Trinity when the only oneness the Bible knows is that of His people.
In Genesis 1, there was Father and Holy Spirit, and for the rest of the Bible is His Word taking on flesh and being glorified. There's the Trinity: the Father, the Spirit, and what they're bringing forth in you as all of you speak the same things and go from "age to age" which is called elsewhere "glory to glory."
Psalm 103:12 says as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Here in Zechariah 14 we have rivers of living water flowing east and west from Jerusalem. John 7:37-38 says from your belly would flow living waters, or from your heart depending on the translation. So I believe we've found Biblical Jerusalem. Matthew 24:37 says the coming of the Son of Man is as the days of Noah. In Zechariah we've got rivers of living water flowing east and west from the heart of every believer that Psalm 103 says is carrying our sins away.
Colossians 1:27 says Christ in you is the dominion of glory. Isn't it interesting how the world is mostly populated east and west and from the planets poles east and west are all you can run into? Let the flood begin!!
