Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. (1Chronicles 29:11-12 KJV)

I don't have another answer to another Bible question for the rest of my life that isn't Mark 4 related. One plants, another waters, God gives the increase is the law of the Kingdom. Questions about God's Sovereignty? One plants, another waters, God gives the increase/decrease accordingly. Questions about Genesis, Job, the prophets, Paul, obedience and disobedience, the book of Revelation, etc. = one plants, another waters, and God gives the increase.

The ages have been relegated to man's sowing and reaping while eternity is relegated to God's own personal harvest after the Seed He's sown. That's my story and I'm stickin' too it rather than being spoiled by vain philosophies as Colossians 2:8 warns against where God's Sovereignty is made to sound like He's part of the problem when all He was doing was giving the increase and tending His garden. What God has clearly promised and His judgments regarding years of release and of Jubilee answer the rest of the questions. All cleansing is by the Blood of Christ, nothing else.

If I've been losing folks recently with answering everything with the foremost principle of the Kingdom, according to Mark 4:13, just start re-reading Mark 4. All you need is where/what was the seed, where/what was the water, and you'll know where your Heavenly Father was at, what His Ways were, and how/when/why His Seed must ultimately prevail. He has promised to command His Blessing, according to Leviticus 25, Galatians 6, 2Corinthians chapters 8 and 9, and Hebrews 4.

Until He has, it's as each of us has measured it. God's Sovereignty is simply tweaking the harvests along the way, pulling weeds, fertilizing what He wants fertilized, giving priority to some things growing faster than to others, (Leviticus 25 again,) etc. But, Jesus said that shallow earth causes it to spring forth quickly, though it gets scorched, so not all things growing quickly are doing equally as well in terms of their roots (Colossians 2:6-7). He knows where the seeds are sown as they're cast and what type each is per Acts 17 and Romans 9.

Because of our lack of diligence, according to Mark 4:22-25 and Luke 8:15, we're often caught off guard with something suddenly appearing, not knowing when/where/why that had been growing until it comes to harvest. According to John 8:12 and Ephesians 5:13-17 we shouldn't be in the dark about any of these things.  More...

For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies, and tell false dreams; they comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; they are in trouble because there is no shepherd. Zechariah 10:2

Unless otherwise noted, Scripture quotations are from a solid Center Column Reference Study New King James Version Bible. Where Center Column Reference alternate renderings are preferred, they're not always noted on the site at the time of their usage in a given context, if there's a discrepancy between our quotation and a NKJV that our site's visitors use that's missing the Center Column Reference notes that provide more literal renderings, alternative Hebrew and Greek manuscript variations, etc. Sometimes an "Understood Subject" from the given chapter of the Bible or the particular book of the Bible (perhaps previous chapter) is given attention to while teaching. Reading (and rereading) each book of the Bible [in it's entirety] that's being quoted from in the midst of each subject is [always] greatly encouraged for added clarity! While we're [deeply] supportive of what's understood to be orthodox Christian doctrine on all matters, we're always looking for what God's ADDITIONALLY saying to us in each subject being taught.
