Living Water 1
I want to spend a few minutes addressing ministers of the Gospel who are called to minister A PARTICULAR prophetic Word and/or a PARTICULAR gift of the Holy Spirit that feel the ever-increasing nudge by the Lord to be INCREASINGLY-ISOLATED as you're doing so, to be where you never thought you'd ever be, 'cause you're a “people-person” and here there's all kinds of sternness from the Lord about ministry TO people, but not allowing them to dump their problems on you, not being allowed to hear their woes, their questions, their other bits of silliness. To a certain extent, things make sense 'cause last thing your message and gifting needs is for the AntiChrist media to have some quotes out of context, in their perennial hunt for sound-bites that they can brand and label you with. I'm in a season where Holy Spirit's really reiterating the need for political/religious isolation, not to allow the media or the well-meaning access to my inner counsel, so thought I'd share a few of the Scriptures Holy Spirit is refreshing me on and taking me a bit deeper regarding. Of course, any Christian who finds themselves in this dilemma that's imposed by God immediately has thoughts that go to what was required of High Priests of Israel on the Day of Atonement, that if they'd had guns back then, there would have likely been – particularly in some of the more red-neck generations of Israel's Old Testament existence – several priests at the top of the building with their high-powered rifles, their high-powered telescopic lenses, etc., making sure absolutely nobody suddenly had a Bible question of the High Priest on that holiest day of the year, from their perspective, 'cause of all that was at stake!
For those of you with a particular “power-gift” from the Lord to minister WHEN AND ONLY WHEN, WHERE AND ONLY WHERE He specifically says, then the isolation that's inherent in that is a little more obvious to your mind on WHY He would be leading in that direction. You could perhaps consider it analogous to the medical field where the guy that takes X-Rays all day STILL hides behind some radiation shielding and doesn't allow the curious to be in there with the patient 'cause they wanna see a million of these, they're so entertaining! Or 'cause they wanna learn, or whatever! However, those of you with a message or series of messages that you were hand-picked by Christ to share and you've got just enough bits and pieces of it to step out, trusting Him to fill your mouth for as long as you honour your end of the Covenant regarding any particular areas of Bible study that you've personally been called to major in: would seem as though what you'd want would be more people around you, asking their whatever, instead of the position you find yourself in, with God saying Who can be around you, what times they're not to ask you ANYTHING WHATSOEVER as you're heading into or from a ministry situation. I want to give you some important Scriptures today, and simply hint at quite a few others with a word I want you to write in your Bible every time you find a particular type of passage 'cause it'll bring it into the 21st Century and into what you'll mostly be facing UNLESS you're in India, an Islamic Country, or somewhere else where the physical threats are very real and 24/7. For the majority of you, this will make the most sense with having Scriptures that'll make sense to your life, rather than feeling this is a whole layer of Scripture that's not applicable to you, if you're not immediately in harm's way with carrying out your ministry. Even for those of you who are, this will largely still apply.
When you find in the Psalms where various authors are taking about those who are encroaching upon them with full intent of robbing them of their lives, where killing them is the concern – everywhere it talks about someone's life being in danger, everywhere there's the word “life” in those particular passages and it's clearly a life that's being threatened or perceived to be threatened, take your pen and after the word life write “style” so that you'll have passages about threats to your “lifestyle” with the Anointing, with the Word you're PARTICULARLY called to minister, and for those of us in Hosea 2:18 Vegan Covenant ministry, obviously it's about those conspiring against our Covenantal Vegan lifestyle. That'll come up with one of the following passages of Scripture that I want to briefly give you on what's happening behind the scenes, spiritually, as you're going forth with your ministry. Up to you if you start playing a copy of “Battle Hymn Of The Republic” in the background as you're reading this. Perhaps you'd wish to start over with that song playing in the room and reread this from the beginning!
4 For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come. 5 I looked, but there was no one to help, and I wondered that there was no one to uphold; therefore My own arm brought salvation for Me; and My own fury, it sustained Me. 6 I have trodden down the peoples in My anger, made them, drunk in My fury, and brought down their strength (including financial) to the land.” 7 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, according to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses. 8 For He said, “Surely they are My people, children who will not lie.” So He became their Savior. 9 In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them and carried them all the days of old. Isaiah 63:4-9
Very likely a comma belongs in this NKJV passage after “made them” in verse 6 because we're clearly talking about the progress of the Gospel, and then bringing down their strength to the land would be the dispensations of their provisions coming, THEREFORE the lovingkindnesses of the Lord and the praises of the Lord are mentioned in this passage. Further proof of the comma that likely belongs after “made them” is that the same ones He's trodden down are the same ones who are children that won't lie. With this refreshed perspective on the Lord's redemptive fury that He's drunk on, according to this passage, let's look at the next passage:
Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, O undesirable Gentile, 2 before the decree is issued, or the day passes like chaff (days do that, don't they?), before the Lord’s fierce anger comes upon you (i.e. comes through you), before the day of the Lord’s anger comes upon you (i.e. the timing of your being sent out by Him would be that "day of the Lord's anger coming upon you")! 3 Seek the Lord, all you meek of the land, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger. Zephaniah 2:1-3
This isn't the only passage like this, where God wants this clearly between Himself and the people and though they're to hear His Word and receive His Works at your hand, very often, as an expression of His Hand – YET – they're not invited to be familiar with you, that's neither stated nor implied in one verse in all 31,000+ of the Bible. Your responsibility is to seek the Lord, to hear from Him, to make sure you're consumed with the message that He's using to consume the land through your ministry, as the books of Malachi, Zephaniah, Micah, Amos, Hosea, Revelation, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians and others of the books of the prophets indicate. Matthew's Gospel is likewise addressed to this same prophetic spirit with talking about your clandestine services to the Lord and His Gospel in the Sermon on the Mount, sharing with you His Lifestyle right before He went into His prophecies that were for that generation. Your lifestyle is undesirable until the Kingdom leaven has leavened the whole world, O undesirable Gentile or Jew, depending on who is reading this that's in ministry, quoting the “undesirable” part of the above passage. The “undesirable” isn't necessary to understand as speaking of sin. The culture doesn't want our lifestyles, so we're to be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger, the type of anger we addressed above in Isaiah 63:4-9 with what we looked at on that passage.
20 Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is past. Isaiah 26:20
Obviously, there is an “until” and your circle of friends will grow as folks are exiting the refiner's fire for their lives that your message was sent to them to be and you won't always be hidden. You do have to intercede though that what's coming upon the world's system through your proclamation doesn't come upon you, and your perspective has to remain the perspective of that message that He's speaking through you that's His will being done on earth as it is in heaven (Luke 21:36). Let's close our brief look at this with a look in Psalm 31:
13 For I hear the slander of many; fear is on every side; while they take counsel together against me,
they scheme to take away my life/lifestyle. 14 But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” 15 My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. 16 Make Your face shine upon Your servant; save me for Your mercies’ sake. 17 Do not let me be ashamed, O Lord, for I have called upon You; let the wicked be ashamed; let them be silent in the grave. 18 Let the lying lips be put to silence, which speak insolent things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous. 19 Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men! 20 You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of man;
You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. 21 Blessed be the Lord, for He has shown me His marvelous kindness in a strong city! Psalm 31:13-21
God wants you immersed in the message He's given you to share with others, He doesn't want you immersed in the slander of many, the fear that's trying to encroach, and the counsels that are against you, scheming to take away your lifestyle. You're supposed to be hidden from persecution. The wicked being ashamed and silenced depends upon this. He wants you kept from the strife of tongues by any means necessary. Doesn't matter what anybody is dying to know. Their desire for familiarity has absolutely no place in the life of the anointed of God. He has laid up goodness for you to bring down as strength to the land, comparing this Scripture with Isaiah 63:4-9 that we read above. Your focus needs to be on mastery of the Written Word of God, and you really do have to travel in the way everyone would expect the President of the United States to travel, 'cause you're a dignitary from God's Kingdom. This Scripture in Psalm 31 says He will keep you secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. The Secret Place of the Most High in Psalm 91 is this pavilion that you're kept from the strife of tongues, and only once you're secured are the Psalm 91 angels loosed to fulfill this Psalm and the 91st Psalm about putting the wicked in the grave for safekeeping 'til Christ has abolished their wickedness, if they would not be brought to repentance by your life and ministry and those of others that were in their lives, to where this has to be a matter addressed by Him, Alone! You're supposed to be shown His marvelous kindness in a strong city. That's why the strengths of the Lord were brought down to the land, according to Isaiah 63:4-9, in order to build them up into a strong city, just the same as every other seed that He's released is supposed to grow up and become greater (Mark 4:30-32).
God needs you secured away from lying tongues, from those who would attempt to bring strife and from those for whom that wouldn't be their intent, but that by their actions and words might minister strife to your inmost being and keep the Word from producing a Mark 4 hundredfold. You have tremendous promises in the Word, such as:
These also who erred in spirit will come to understanding, and those who complained will learn doctrine. Isaiah 29:24
And some of those of understanding shall fall, to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time. Daniel 11:35
Therefore people who do not understand will be trampled. Hosea 4:14
We've already discussed trampling with Isaiah 63 above, where it's redemptive, so don't leap into the false doctrine that because they're trampled that means all hope has perished for them, or they got what was coming to them, 'cause after all, who did they think they were, ignoring such an anointed vessel as yourself? Trampling is redemptive in Scripture, but because it can still hurt like Hell, please don't surrender your calling to the aforementioned pomp regarding your own self-importance. Malachi 4:3 promises the same trampling of the wicked under the soles of your feet:
3 You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,” says the Lord of hosts. Malachi 4:3
Again, this is another redemptive passage, such as Isaiah 63:4-9 that we covered already, and it's not going to happen if you're not in the secret pavilion of the Lord, hidden from the strife of tongues. The more immersed you are in your message, the more insensible you are of the state of the world around you 'cause you've got your protective entourage in place that's serving to minimize your distractions by others – since we all know that the distractions of others carry on long after they've already left, if they said or did or in some other way left a distracting spirit, look, behavior, etc., and it's not worth having a 30fold harvest when you could have had a 100fold harvest of the Word, 'cause if what you're bringing forth is particularly radical, a 30fold level repeated in your generation and in the generation of your spiritual children would mean we've once again postponed Isaiah 11:9/Habakkuk 2:14 fullness of the glory and fullness of the knowledge of the glory in the earth. 30fold and 60fold are clearly NOT world-wide fullness of God's glory in the land!
12 “Woe to him who builds a town with bloodshed, who establishes a city by iniquity! 13 Behold, it is not of the Lord of hosts that the peoples labor to feed the fire, and nations weary themselves in vain! 14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:12-14
NKJV turns the 13th verse into a question, 'cause of the religious tradition of the translators, but it's not a question, but God stating His innocence of our failing to produce the hundredfold, but inspite of how we've conducted ourselves in previous centuries with not being hidden in His pavilion from the strife of tongues, He will have a generation that'll take the unique things of His Kingdom and that'll abide in His secret place with them, be hidden in the day of anger, and will produce the filling of the earth with the full knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea! Either true deliverance of Creation on some particular happens or we're the fools who beat the bow on the ground just a few times rather than beating the land with it repeatedly in the way all of the prophets of the Bible have indicated for us to, in order to bring down that strength to the land that God has intended to be the satisfaction of the desire of every living thing. Here's what you do when you buck against your severance/separation for the Gospel of Christ; this is what God is faced with in you 'cause you wouldn't bear the Cross of Christ and press on towards the hundredfold, not caring who doesn't understand, who doesn't think you're a nice person, etc. You become a foolish Shepherd. Lord Jesus says in Matthew 7:24-27 and Luke 6:46-49 that you did it to yourself 'cause you wouldn't stand before the Son of Man, escaped from these things, and that day caught you unawares/unexpectedly, according to Luke 21:34, when the time of your exaltation came and you weren't ready to be in His pavilion, hidden from the tongues of strife: this is what you chose to become, inspite of having started out running well:
15 And the Lord said to me, “Next, take for yourself the implements of a foolish shepherd. 16 For indeed I will raise up a shepherd in the land who will not care for those who are cut off, nor seek the young, nor heal those that are broken, nor feed those that still stand. But he will eat the flesh of the fat and tear their hooves in pieces. 17 “Woe to the worthless shepherd, who leaves the flock! A sword shall be against his arm and against his right eye; his arm shall completely wither, and his right eye shall be totally blinded." Zechariah 11:15-17
Was so sad, God resorted to “gallows humor” with having His prophet take the implements of a foolish shepherd, in a desperate attempt to intercede all foolish shepherds for all time out of being that way, desiring himself to be cut off for their sakes, as Moses for Israel and Paul for the Jewish nation that wouldn't embrace the Lordship of Jesus. These are the promises before us and why you're fighting through the isolation and pressing towards mastery in the message that God has given you for the segment of humanity that you're called to:
9 And moreover, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and sought out and arranged in order many proverbs. 10 The Preacher sought to find delightful words; and what was written was upright—words of truth. 11 The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of "masters of assemblies" are like well-driven nails, given by one Pastor. Ecclesiastes 12:9-11
You are called to inherit with Christ Jesus:
17 “Again proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; the Lord will again comfort Zion, and will again choose Jerusalem.”’” Zechariah 1:17
7 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘If you will walk in My ways (Isaiah 53:7), and if you will keep My command, then you shall also judge My house, and likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk among these who stand here. Zechariah 3:7
2 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘I am zealous for Zion with great zeal; with great fervor I am zealous for her.’ 3 “Thus says the Lord: ‘I will return to Zion, and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, the Mountain of the Lord of hosts, the Holy Mountain.’ 4 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Old men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each one with his staff in his hand because of great age. 5 The streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.’ Zechariah 8:2-5
12 ‘For the seed shall be prosperous, the vine shall give its fruit, the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew— I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these. Zechariah 8:12
11 “As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit. 12 Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you. Zechariah 9:11-12
12 “So I will strengthen them in the Lord, and they shall walk up and down in His name,” says the Lord. Zechariah 10:12
5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.’ Zechariah 12:5
11 The people shall dwell in it; and no longer shall there be utter destruction, but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. Zechariah 14:11
14 Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations shall be gathered together: gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance. Zechariah 14:14
Along with every particular promise the Lord has made to you to stand on, to preach, to dream, and to hide in His pavilion with from the tongues of strife, embedded in your trench warfare away from friend and foe alike, 'cause the promise every Christian needs to focus most upon, besides anything else related to the vastness of the conquest of Christ revealed in Ephesians 1:8-10 and related passages is what's most dear to each Christian minister's heart that's the personal payday that matters more than any other type of payday – the eternal memorial in the earth of one's ministry: what YOU'VE SAID continuing through your spiritual, adoptive, and biological descendants 'til the moon is no more:
21 “As for Me,” says the Lord, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord, “from this time and forevermore.” Isaiah 59:21
Your lifestyle is the womb through which this is not only being knitted together, but from which it'll be birthed simultaneously with either your departure from the earth or the stepping out of your seed on two legs to do what God has for them to do....eons from now, musing with self: “Had I known my seed would last THAT LONG, I would have taken better care of it when it was in my stewardship and would have isolated myself better from this and that that comes to mind...!!” Allow the anger of the Lord to cleanse His temple. It's the answer to Climate Change, to the longevity of every animal He's ever created, to economic woes, and to everything else, because Isaiah 11:9 must come and it must come through us:
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the land shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 11:9
We must be hidden in the day of His anger: must be all Him that's flowing through, ourselves crucified with Christ, strife of tongues totally kept out of the reach of us 'cause we're in His pavilion... before our decrees are issued and the day passes like chaff. Relish coming out from among them, being separated for the Gospel of Christ, not out of any self-righteousness, but for all sorts of trampling to be taking place with the Gospel He's given you being the final Word on the matter – not anybody's questions, what He's SPECIFICALLY commissioned you to do, that's not strife-based, but is the repudiation of strife on the matter of His lovingkindness and tender mercies, His commitment to neither forsake us, nor our finances, nor the Creation around us!! Let the Colossians 3:16 Word of Christ have the final say in all matters of faith and practice, that unique deposit of the Holy Spirit that He's given you. Fear may surround, as it says in the Psalm we've reviewed, but doesn't mean it needs to “enter in” and choke the Word and make it unfruitful. You weren't the fruit-barer, the Word was, and the moment you broke focus, the fruit was already aborted. Lock in to those promises that He's specifically given you to teach and confess them in private more than you ever have in your life 'til He's given you increased wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption through them, per 1Corinthians 1:30. 1Peter 1:23 not only covers what must happen with each of us, but what must happen with each of our circumstances, as is witnessed by Joshua 1:8 and innumerable other similar passages in both testaments of the Bible. Your finances, your body – everything within and around you that MUST BE in order to be able to take your next steps with God can be born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word that endures 'til the end of the ages that precede 1Corinthians 15:28. Take the message He's given you from the Bible to the Bible, open that Bible to Proverbs 4:20-5:2 and begin to obey that cooking instruction with that message He's given you and roast the whole Creation around you with the message He's given you through the oven of those private devotional instructions in Proverbs 4:20-5:2. Make the message He's given you life to those that find it and health/medicine to all of Creation, in Jesus' Name!

For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies, and tell false dreams; they comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; they are in trouble because there is no shepherd. Zechariah 10:2
Unless otherwise noted, Scripture quotations are from a solid Center Column Reference Study New King James Version Bible. Where Center Column Reference alternate renderings are preferred, they're not always noted on the site at the time of their usage in a given context, if there's a discrepancy between our quotation and a NKJV that our site's visitors use that's missing the Center Column Reference notes that provide more literal renderings, alternative Hebrew and Greek manuscript variations, etc. Sometimes an "Understood Subject" from the given chapter of the Bible or the particular book of the Bible (perhaps previous chapter) is given attention to while teaching. Reading (and rereading) each book of the Bible [in it's entirety] that's being quoted from in the midst of each subject is [always] greatly encouraged for added clarity! While we're [deeply] supportive of what's understood to be orthodox Christian doctrine on all matters, we're always looking for what God's ADDITIONALLY saying to us in each subject being taught.
