2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2Peter 1:2-4 NKJV
20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. 2Corinthians 1:20-22 NKJV
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:15-17 NKJV
What a tremendous basis for peace! His divine power, according to the above Scriptures, has given us every “Yes” that pertains to life and godliness, that by these “Yeses” you would have His anointing, His Kingdom notarization upon every “Yes” He's spoken over your life through His grace and peace, and His Spirit to be within our hearts to convict our hearts with the Word of every “Yes” He's given to us as we let it dwell richly in our hearts!
The peace of God is to rule in our hearts. Colossians 3:15 says it's as much of a calling as anything else we're individually called to. The first calling of every believer is to the peace of God. If we're not faithful in this calling to His peace, then we'll never perceive from the Scriptures and His Spirit the rest of His callings upon our individual lives. His grace and peace are multiplied to us through the knowledge of every promise, every “Yes,” and every escape that He's given us from the corruption that's in the world.
In Jeremiah 31:27-28 we have His “Yes” in the behalf of every Jew, Gentile, and Animal so that every Jew, Gentile, and Animal would enter into the Romans 8:21 liberties of the children of God:
27 “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast. 28 And it shall come to pass, that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy, and to afflict, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, says the Lord. Jeremiah 31:27-28 NKJV
This Scripture from Jeremiah 31:27-28 extends His Covenantal “Yes” to all things that pertain to life and godliness to Jews, the seed of Gentiles, and the seed of Animals so that the whole Creation would escape the corruption that's in the world through lust. This Scripture says that as they had anything but building and planting in their lives from God in the past, of His “Yeses,” at this time they're each to have the building and planting of God's “Yes” to all things that pertain to New Testament life and New Testament godliness as the Word of Christ progresses in riches in our hearts, in our speech, and in our behavior in the Name of Lord Jesus in the behalf of all of Creation (See Ephesians 1:22-23).
He who establishes the Animals with us in Christ and has anointed them with us is God, according to Isaiah 63:14 and Psalm 23:5:
14 As a beast goes down into the valley, and the Spirit of the Lord causes him to rest, so You lead Your people, to make Yourself a glorious name. Isaiah 63:14 NKJV
Psalm 23 in speaking of this Jeremiah 31:27-28 passage says that He makes the Animals to lie down in green pastures and anoints their head with oil, while Isaiah 63:14 says the beast goes down into the valley and the Spirit of the Lord causes him to rest. In Isaiah 11:2-9 when the Spirit of the Lord rests upon us the leopard lies down with the young goat and the young cow and the young bear lies down together, because the earth is reaching fullness of the knowledge of the Lord's “Yeses” to all things that pertain to life and godliness. His building and planting in their lives is bringing the escape from the corruption that is in the world through lust and He's making Himself a glorious Name through our doing everything and saying everything through the Word of Christ in His Name. Again, Colossians 3:15 says:
“15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”
The one body we were called to is this one body that's made up of the house of Israel and the house of Judah that have been sown with the seed of Gentiles and with the seed of Animals because the whole Creation is entering into the liberties of the children of God, according to Romans 8:21. Per Jeremiah 31:27-28 He's building and planting with His emphatic New Testament “Yes” to all things that pertain to life and godliness so that as one Creation we are escaping the corruption that is in the world, neither hurting nor destroying in all His holy mountain because as His Word is dwelling in us in all wisdom His grace and peace are reaching fullness of expression, as 2Peter 1:2-4, 2Corinthians 1:20-22, Colossians 3:15-17, Romans 8:21, Jeremiah 31:27-28, Isaiah 63:14, Psalm 23, and Isaiah 11:2-9 assures us they would.

For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies, and tell false dreams; they comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; they are in trouble because there is no shepherd. Zechariah 10:2
Unless otherwise noted, Scripture quotations are from a solid Center Column Reference Study New King James Version Bible. Where Center Column Reference alternate renderings are preferred, they're not always noted on the site at the time of their usage in a given context, if there's a discrepancy between our quotation and a NKJV that our site's visitors use that's missing the Center Column Reference notes that provide more literal renderings, alternative Hebrew and Greek manuscript variations, etc. Sometimes an "Understood Subject" from the given chapter of the Bible or the particular book of the Bible (perhaps previous chapter) is given attention to while teaching. Reading (and rereading) each book of the Bible [in it's entirety] that's being quoted from in the midst of each subject is [always] greatly encouraged for added clarity! While we're [deeply] supportive of what's understood to be orthodox Christian doctrine on all matters, we're always looking for what God's ADDITIONALLY saying to us in each subject being taught.
