What is Vegan?
by Martin Cisneros

VEGANS (pronounced VEE-guns) Live on products of the plant kingdom.

Veganism is proactive compassion in action. It is a philosophy, diet, and lifestyle. On Biblical grounds it is first among lifestyle choices that demonstrate a Biblically based rejection of Apocalyptic Dystopia scenarios for our day.  It is first among Biblical steps to take towards receiving the Original Biblical mandate to fill the whole earth with the knowledge of God's glory, a full acceptance of all that it means to be placed back into the position with God and with Creation that Adam and Eve fell from when they went out from the Presence of the Lord into all of the eons of Apocalyptic Dystopia scenarios that filled the Bible for previous eons.

It is not rooted in whether or not Lord Jesus was Vegan in His prior earthly ministry, but in whether or not the prophets of the Bible said we would be! Lord Jesus was as much completing a Jewish, Mosaic system in every way that His heavenly Father saw fit as He was restoring us to God through His Blood, resurrection, and entrance into ministry at God's right Hand. If Lord Jesus wasn't a Vegan in His prior earthly ministry, He wouldn't object nor be the least bit offended to regard Veganism among John 14:12 acts that we undertook in the pursuit of the rest of the fulfillment of the Word of God for our lives and for the Creation around us as good stewards of the manifold wisdom of God.  The Scriptures must be fulfilled in our lives in the behalf of the Creation as well, and not just as a matter of our relationship to God or any moral and prophetic imperatives for our own lives alone.  We operate in a Covenantal supremacy over the Creation in the behalf of the Creation. Our Covenantal imperative is that we don't live for ourselves solely, nor for the interests of our God, family, Church, and community solely. We are the beacons of Christ's compassion for all of Creation! We must allow the Last Adam to obey through us what the First Adam disobeyed through us.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Romans 10:4

Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, HAVE ALSO FORETOLD THESE DAYS. You are sons of the prophets and of the Covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, "And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed." Acts 3:24-25

And of course, Acts 3:21 says Lord Jesus is withheld until all families are restored, which God spoke by the mouth of all of His holy prophets since the world began.  "All families" in the Biblical prophets doesn't end with human families, nor with merely how humans relate to other humans. Veganism is one method of working towards that on both a prophetic and a scientifically quantum level. A lot of us have had extended family over the years that wasn't limited to humans.

Veganism is an advanced way of living in accordance with Appreciation for and Justification of Life, recognizing Christ's Atonement for all living creatures, and extending to them the compassion, kindness, and justice exemplified in the Hosea 2:18 Covenant.

Vegans exclude flesh, fish, fowl, dairy products (animal milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, etc.), eggs, honey, animal gelatin, and all other foods of animal origin.

Veganism also excludes animal products such as leather, ivory, wool, fur, and silk in clothing, upholstery, etc. Vegans usually make efforts to avoid the less-than-obvious animal oils, secretions, etc., in many products such as soaps, cosmetics, toiletries, household goods and other common commodities.

Alternatives to products that have been made out of the economic trade of the remains of animal bodies have been sold for many years, and new alternatives are emerging with increasing regularity.

Sole Reasons for Veganism: An equitable, ethical and Biblically Covenantal relationship between human and other living creatures.  Veganism is a declaration that the war is over and Christ won!

For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies, and tell false dreams; they comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; they are in trouble because there is no shepherd. Zechariah 10:2

Unless otherwise noted, Scripture quotations are from a solid Center Column Reference Study New King James Version Bible. Where Center Column Reference alternate renderings are preferred, they're not always noted on the site at the time of their usage in a given context, if there's a discrepancy between our quotation and a NKJV that our site's visitors use that's missing the Center Column Reference notes that provide more literal renderings, alternative Hebrew and Greek manuscript variations, etc. Sometimes an "Understood Subject" from the given chapter of the Bible or the particular book of the Bible (perhaps previous chapter) is given attention to while teaching. Reading (and rereading) each book of the Bible [in it's entirety] that's being quoted from in the midst of each subject is [always] greatly encouraged for added clarity! While we're [deeply] supportive of what's understood to be orthodox Christian doctrine on all matters, we're always looking for what God's ADDITIONALLY saying to us in each subject being taught.
