Listening to a CD w/my spiritual father figuring Jesus didn't sleep very much during a particular point of ministry, likely prayed all night

Can't be true that Lord Jesus spent near as many sleepless nights in prayer as Pentecostal types presume. Every NT promise has OT roots.

Lord Jesus' version of 1Peter 5:6-7 & related promises would be in Psalms about God giving His Beloved sleep. Jesus had to walk that out!!

Jesus CLEARLY HAD TO walk in everything the Word of Faith movement in Christianity walks out today, getting it all from Genesis thru Malachi

Every New Testament Scripture about every care cast upon God, every thought brought to obedience of Christ, etc. has OT precursors.

Absolutely nobody's ability to hear...

Santa's part of the Superhero genre!  Ridiculous costume that looks like pjs, impervious to cold, the filth and smoke and fire and carcinogens of chimneys and tobacco (in the versions of him with a pipe he smokes), and who supernaturally never comes down with diabetes and terminal nasal issues with soooo much cookies and milk -- and who's sole purpose is bringing joy to children across the entire world, with needing to be everywhere on the planet in one day, which may top Superman's speeds/energy/strength with having to visit 8 billion households (supposedly) in 12hrs or so, at least the ones with children.  How is that different from all the other comic book stuff??  His one villain that he's fighting ...

Some of my recent articles have been in the form of archiving series of comments I've made on Twitter on various topics. The following is likewise a series of "tweets" that were posted to Twitter:

Romans 14 is sometimes brought up by those unaware the chapter is dealing w/1st Century Koshur concerns RATHER THAN the Hosea 2:18 Covenant.

Since the Hosea 2:18 Covenant is the Work of God for our generation, those who bring up Romans 14 against Veganism are violating that chapt.

Theyre destroying the work of God in the name of food rather than standing w/Christ Jesus against Animal Exploitation as Word's fulfilled...

There are things in St. Paul's writings that have no more to do with the price of tea in China than ...

Not certain the "Feed My Sheep" in last chapter of John's Gospel is even remotely applicable to today, by any stretch of imagination.

"Graze" instead of "Feed" in #ConcordantLiteral & peak at your Concordant Keyword Concordance before assuming to know what that means.

#ConcordantLiteral says from a Greek word meaning "Herb." Is Jesus telling Peter to prepare THEM for slaughter, same as will happen to him?

For the Dispensationalists who believe in 2 NT Gospels: is the New Testament calling Peter's ministry a ministry of death?

That's #EXTREMELY provocative when remembering 2Corinthians 3 about Paul's ministry of righteousness.

Last chapter of John's Gospel has an ...

For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies, and tell false dreams; they comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; they are in trouble because there is no shepherd. Zechariah 10:2

Unless otherwise noted, Scripture quotations are from a solid Center Column Reference Study New King James Version Bible. Where Center Column Reference alternate renderings are preferred, they're not always noted on the site at the time of their usage in a given context, if there's a discrepancy between our quotation and a NKJV that our site's visitors use that's missing the Center Column Reference notes that provide more literal renderings, alternative Hebrew and Greek manuscript variations, etc. Sometimes an "Understood Subject" from the given chapter of the Bible or the particular book of the Bible (perhaps previous chapter) is given attention to while teaching. Reading (and rereading) each book of the Bible [in it's entirety] that's being quoted from in the midst of each subject is [always] greatly encouraged for added clarity! While we're [deeply] supportive of what's understood to be orthodox Christian doctrine on all matters, we're always looking for what God's ADDITIONALLY saying to us in each subject being taught.
