Living Water 41
9 “For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah would no longer cover the land, so have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. 10 For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My lovingkindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you. Isaiah 54:9-10
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
That the Covenant of Peace surpasses all carnal understanding doesn't mean you can never understand it or the prayers for wisdom, revelation, eye-understanding, and comprehension of all that surpasses knowledge wouldn't have been prayed in Ephesians chapters 1 and 3 as part of the Covenantal frameworks of the 1st and 3rd chapters of Ephesians. It was simply saying that this breastplate of righteousness that'll guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus will work whenever you put faith-pressure on this Covenant of Peace. Your stand of faith on this is extremely mighty in it's outcome, even if at this stage in your faith-life you couldn't fully explain to someone else why it works as effectively as it does. Colossians 1:20 says this Peace was made by the Blood of His Cross.
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1Peter 5:6-7
If we're to seek Peace and pursue it, according to 1Peter 3:11, then we're to seek the Blood of Jesus and pursue it, according to Colossians 1:20. So humbling yourselves under the mighty hand of God would be humbling yourself to His Written Word because it spells out the Covenantal terms of the Blood of Jesus by which you are a partaker of the divine nature, escaping the corruption in the world through that Blood. You're walking in the light as He is in the light by walking by the Written Word and His cleansing Blood is exalting you in due time from what Zechariah 9:11 calls a waterless pit. God's lovingkindness sweeps you up out of the waterless pit, away from every dunghill, seats you among princes, and the Covenant of Peace occupies the place in your life that formerly the waters of Noah would have occupied.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the land shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 11:9
There's one way to walk in this kind of Peace, only one way:
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:15-17
Did you notice the Peace of God ruling in your heart is the equivalent of letting the Word of Christ dwell in you richly? And where does this passage from Colossians say the grace came from that Hebrews 13:9 says it is good for the heart to be established in? By the same Word of Christ dwelling in you richly. It says that it should dwell in you richly in all wisdom, but that simply means you should see Christ as the center of the universe, or multiverse, according to Ephesians 1:7-10. Ephesians 1:7-10 says everything is collapsing into the singularity of Christ. Casting every care upon Him is casting every care upon His Written Word as first priority and final authority. His Covenant of Peace will not be removed from you. He is committed to His building and planting Covenant that He has made with people and animals, according to Jeremiah 31:
27 “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast. 28 And it shall come to pass, that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy, and to afflict, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, says the Lord. Jeremiah 31:27-28
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I pray for those who are not acquainted with this Covenant of Peace to embrace the Lordship of Jesus, immediately, believing in their heart that You've raised Him from the dead, confessing Him as the Lord of their lives. Father, for those who've fallen away from the Covenant of Peace by letting the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things enter in and choke the Word, I pray that they'll begin to get in Your Word even deeper than they've ever been in it in their whole lives, that they'll settle things with You over the Bread and Cup of our Lord Jesus regarding every aspect of their lives coming into Your full provision, and that the Word of God will again begin to bare the fruit of their recreated human spirits because they've presented their members to You as weapons of righteousness, according to Romans 6, and themselves as alive from the dead, in the Name of Jesus!

For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies, and tell false dreams; they comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; they are in trouble because there is no shepherd. Zechariah 10:2
Unless otherwise noted, Scripture quotations are from a solid Center Column Reference Study New King James Version Bible. Where Center Column Reference alternate renderings are preferred, they're not always noted on the site at the time of their usage in a given context, if there's a discrepancy between our quotation and a NKJV that our site's visitors use that's missing the Center Column Reference notes that provide more literal renderings, alternative Hebrew and Greek manuscript variations, etc. Sometimes an "Understood Subject" from the given chapter of the Bible or the particular book of the Bible (perhaps previous chapter) is given attention to while teaching. Reading (and rereading) each book of the Bible [in it's entirety] that's being quoted from in the midst of each subject is [always] greatly encouraged for added clarity! While we're [deeply] supportive of what's understood to be orthodox Christian doctrine on all matters, we're always looking for what God's ADDITIONALLY saying to us in each subject being taught.
